I needed to get a better signal for my USB wireless network adapter and bought an extender cable from another supplier so as to position it in the best place. It worked with my desktop PC but not with the laptop for which I needed it. Too much power and signal loss over 8 metres, I guess. So I bought this one, which works perfectly. Well done Lindy!

I wanted to view my monitor upstairs on 47inch tv in lounge, I tried various methods both wired and wireless with no luck then I came across the Lindy web site and read about the "Pro" series of usb extension cables, I took a chance ordered two cables which arrived next day and when fitted had perfect picture with full control of mouse and keyboard. Ordered USB 2.0 Active Extension System Pro 8 Meter cable,arrived next day as promised via Royal Mail. Have been strugling to get a decent signal level on my 3 mobile broadband dongle. Plugged it into cable,hung dongle next to window,walla, full 3G speed. Absolutely excellent!!!
