The LINDY IDE RAID 0/1 System is designed to be a reliable and affordable solution for RAID (Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks) Level 0 Disk Striping and RAID Level 1 Disk Mirroring.
Designed as a cost effective IDE solution, the IDE RAID 0/1 system has a built-in intelligent RAID controller and will therefore operate with any PC.
- IDE RAID system incorporating a built-in intelligent RAID controller
- Supports two 3½" IDE hard disks (ATA-133 up to 200GB)
- RAID Level 0 function treats both hard disks as a single volume for greater speed and performance
- RAID Level 1 function mirrors data to both hard disks providing data security at all times. If one hard disk drive should fail, then the other immediately takes over, an alarm sounds, and an email notifies you of the failure. You can easily "hot-swap" the failed drive and the IDE RAID system will rebuild the data automatically to the new drive without any data loss
- Self contained unit fits into two free 5¼" bays (PC only)
- Additional inner trays available (Part No. 20678)
- 3.5" HDD Wallet also available for transporting bare drives
- Simply attaches to your motherboards existing IDE controller
- Operating system views the controller like a standard hard disk drive
- Hard disks can be "hot-plugged" during operation, auto re-build function is automatic in the event a faulty drive needs to be replaced
- Aluminium metal housing provides excellent heat dissipation and reliable EMI/RFI screening
- Lockable front facia incorporates LCD function display
