LINDY Goes the Distance to Extend Digital Audio

We announced today our Digital Audio Extender, that allows both optical digital and coaxial audio signals to be transmitted up to 150m away using standard Cat5/6 cables. Simple plug and play installation makes the LINDY Digital Audio Extender easy to set up and the choice of powering the unit by USB or mains supply increases the flexibility. With a data transmission rate of 16Mps and sample rates from 32-96kHz, the extender can cope with multi-channel audio including Dolby Digital, DTS and 7.1, as well as stereo.
