Fed-up with listening to mediocre audio from their work computers our product management team has launched the LINDY USB DAC, a USB digital audio interface that delivers audiophile sound quality to speakers, Hi-Fi or headphones.

The typical business or low cost computer has only a basic on-board sound, fine for conversations on Skype, but not great for listening to music. Our latest device converts USB, TosLink and digital coax to analogue stereo making it ideal for listening to music when you’re working late in the office.

The USB DAC converts digital PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) audio to stereo audio signals and acts as a USB digital audio interface that enables an analogue audio system to be connected to a wide range of digital audio sources. The perfect upgrade for music lovers who want to improve the sound quality delivered from their computer, HDTV, CD or DVD player.

Providing audiophile sound quality up to 24bit/192KHz, the LINDY USB DAC includes a headphone amplifier and a volume control. The DAC’s USB 2.0 interface requires no special drivers and is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X and can be powered via the USB bus or an additional USB power supply (not included).
