LINDY Makes Notebooks Cooler

We announced today an Adjustable Notebook Cooler that puts an end to warped DVD drives, dry soldered joints and even melting casings, just some of the problems caused from hot running laptops.

The LINDY Adjustable Notebook Cooler is suitable for most 7" to 15" laptops and features a single, quiet fan that cools the computer. Further passive cooling and heat dissipation is assisted by allowing air to flow freely underneath the notebook at the same time. In addition, the cooler's unique, fold-away design makes it easy for users to place their machine where the additional cooling is required, yet still small enough to fit into a laptop bag.

Heat is a killer for notebooks. Today's powerful laptops can generate a vast amount of heat, which can have a serious impact on performance and the lifetime of the machine, if not dealt with correctly. In making notebooks cheaper and lighter, more plastic is increasingly being used in their manufacture and this is also contributing to the problem.

Bus powered via an integrated USB Cable, the Notebook Cooler has adjustable rubber pads to hold the laptop securely when in use and a tilt feature for additional comfort. The LINDY Adjustable Notebook Cooler features a single 2300 RPM fan with a quite operation of less than 20dBA.
