Splitting Image – Easy HD Demos with LINDY

We announced today the availability of a HDMI switching splitter that enables multiple devices to be connected to multiple screens, making it perfect for retail product demonstrations and public display applications. The splitter can re-time, compensate and regenerate the HDMI input signal so that the output signal can be transmitted distances of up to 20 meters.

Available as either a four or eight port model, each of the sources can be directed to any of the display outputs using the supplied remote control. Compliant with HDMI 1.3c and HDCP, the LINDY HDMI Switching Splitter supports digital video formats in deep colour mode at up to 12 bit and 7.1 channel digital surround sound.

Being able to switch between multiple channels and displays at the press of button enables retail showrooms to demonstrate AV equipment with ease. The splitter allows prospective purchasers to quickly compare the effects of various sources on different displays, helping them to decide which combination delivers the most impact.

The LINDY HDMI Switching Splitter is housed in a sturdy metal casing, making it ideal for commercial use and supports HDTV resolutions of up to 1080p and DVI resolutions up to UXGA. The four port model supports four inputs and four outputs; the eight port model supports eight inputs and eight outputs.
