NEW AV Extender Wall Plate System

We announced today the launch of our Modular AV Extender Wall Plate System, which provides installers with a neat, flexible and low cost system to transmit audio and video signals over long distances. At the heart of the system is Balun technology, which enables LINDY to extend audio and video signals over Cat5e/6 cable beyond their normal range.

The system consists of a range of snap-in modules that fit snugly into faceplates, which can be surface or flush mounted. The modules include VGA, RCA/Phono and S-video combinations with simple punch down IDC termination, making installation quick and easy. Depending on the application and cable used, the LINDY Modular AV Extender Wall Plate System can support distances of up to 300m.

The modular design of our new wall plate system provides unbeatable flexibility, by allowing the installer to choose the combination of video and audio components that best suits their requirements. Using Cat.5 cable provides an additional advantage by making long cables runs relatively low cost, so it's particularly useful in installations where the source is some distance from the projector or display.
