SCSI Adapter
A SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) Adapter, pronounced "Scuzzy," converts one different SCSI format to another.
SCSI is a parallel interface standard used by PCs, Macs and many UNIX systems for attaching peripheral devices to computers. SCSI interfaces provide for faster data transmission rates (up to 80 megabytes per second) than standard serial and parallel ports.
There are internal and external SCSI adapters available which are used to extend the amount of connected peripherals if other methods are currently been used. These devices are connected to the SCSI adapter using SCSI cables.
