This RAID system allows you to create a very compact and high performance storage solution using two SATA hard drives (not included). It supports RAID 0, which combines the storage space of the two drives for high speed operation, and RAID 1 which allows the drives to be mirrored for redundancy and reliability.
The RAID system can be connected to your computer using either a USB 2.0 or an eSATA connection. It supports 3.5" SATA 1.0a and II drives with a maximum capacity of 1.5TB using two 750GB drives. A Windows based user interface is provided for easy configuration and monitoring and a built-in LCD screen provides system status information. For efficient heat dissipation, the case is constructed from aluminium and features two effective cooling fans.
