Easy connect a computer with a DisplayPort output to a VGA monitor!

The LINDY DisplayPort to VGA adapter converts the digital signal from the your DisplayPort connection on your computer into an analogue VGA signal for use monitors or projectors. Simply connect the male DisplayPort connector in to the DisplayPort socket on your PC and then connect a VGA cable from the adaptor to the VGA connection on your display.

What is "DisplayPort"?

DisplayPort is a digital video interface connection designed as a replacement for the DVI standard currently in use on computer hardware. It is similar in specification to the HDMI standard, but unlike HDMI, DisplayPort is being targeted as a computer interface rather than a home theatre interface. DisplayPort differs from VGA in that VGA is analogue and DisplayPort is digital.
